Every quarter the Artisan Center selects a local organization to support and bring awareness to. We do this by collecting cash donations at our front desk, providing a QR code for credit card donations, and posting updates to our community via our website, Instagram, and our customer newsletter. The goal is to highlight and bring additional awareness to all the amazing work being done in and around Denver.
This quarter (June - August) we are thrilled to be shining our light on WellPower - a place for recovery, resilience, and well-being, known locally and nationally as a model for innovative and effective community behavioral health care. One of WellPower's newest projects takes on Solving the Homeless and Housing Crisis. Recently breaking ground, WellPower's Sheridan on 10th is slated to be a three-story, permanent supportive housing apartment building in Denver's Villa Park Neighborhood, a half-mile south of the Sheridan Light Rail Station. The building will consist of 60 one-bedroom and one-bath units for chronically unhoused individuals. A link to their services is here: www.wellpower.org/.
