Their story

"For as long as I can remember, I’ve collected snippets of beauty wherever I find them. I have quotes, train tickets, inspiring packaging, photos from magazines, scraps with words heard in passing tucked into every nook and corner of my life. There is beauty in everything around us, if we look for it. I think there is a magic to words and how they can make us feel; how they can connect us to others and touch at things we can’t always express. Through my artwork, I try to share the glimpses of beauty and magic I discover. I believe handmade things are important in our lives because they connect us to the maker. But equally as lovely is for the artist to feel they’ve sparked something in the viewer. I love hearing the stories that come back to me about where my work traveled, who the words touched or helped."
