"​Indiana Artisan’s mission is to support Hoosier entrepreneurs, develop communities and grow Indiana’s place-based economy by showcasing and selling locally crafted art and food, building artisan capacity, and expanding cultural tourism opportunities. It does this by helping Artisans expand their businesses, increase sales, and build their capacity through business-development opportunities and cultural tourism experiences. It also provides education and training tools for developing entrepreneurial skills and supporting community development. In addition, it creates retail opportunities and generates awareness of the high-quality art and food products created in Indiana.
